Movie Review- Mao's last dancer

So do you want a good movie review for Mao's last Dancer? Well, you came to the right place! I rated the movie 3 out of 5, because although the movie is good, it's not a movie to waste your time with. But before I get into more detail, I'll summarize this movie. The republic of China finds a group of kids to represent China's dancing (ballet) category. One of those kids' name is Lin Cunxin, the main character of this movie. He's the worst in the group, but perseveres through the years because of Teacher Chan, who persuaded him to try and try! Teacher Chan inspired Lin, just like my parents inspired me. My parents are really smart, and I want to be as smart like them, maybe even smarter. Working hard is not easy, but it will be worth it in the long run.

The head of a dancing company came to pick one person to be a student of his company, and Lin Cunxin was chosen. He goes to America , and realizes how different China is to America. It reminds me of the frog in the well story. A toad told him how amazing it is outside of the well, and the frog wonders what it will be outside of the well. Lin wondered what it's like in America, and he discovers new things. To me, that story means that you should be traveling, so you know what it's like in other places in the world, like GLPS camp!

Lin becomes a dancing star in America, but his time in America was up. He had to go back, unless he married. So, he did. He stayed in America, Now, he can live with his wife, dance like a pro, and discover more things about America. Unfortunately though, that's under the cost of Lin's prohibition from China, he can never see his family, and he can get homesick. But later in the movie, he gets to see his parents and goes back to China.
